The Start of Something New

The beginnings of M6 Marketing come out of more than ten years of working in sales and marketing, usually doing both simultaneously. You quickly learn how to develop successful B2B marketing when your sales success depends on the leads you generate. At the same time, working for marketing companies, helping clients tackle the challenge of customer acquisition adds another entirely different set of challenges and experiences.

Out of this experience came the realization that creating and managing the infrastructure of B2B and B2C customer acquisition is a massive challenge for many businesses. Especially, as the number of channels continues to expand, and the marketing technology stack continues to grow in complexity.

At M6, we believe that this growing complexity will dramatically reshape marketing and sales support. So marketing and sales will be increasingly focused on managing outcomes - brand awareness, engagement, close and conversion rates, and lifetime value of customers, while outsourcing the management of the different activities. Following a similar progression as companies have reshaped the priorities of their IT to focus on service levels and business systems rather than managing rooms of servers.
